Annual Benefit READ 718 Reads! Giving Tuesday

In the fall of 2018, READ 718 launched READ 718 Reads!, a series of intimate fundraiser book clubs. READ 718 Reads! events bring together 30-40 adult guests and the author of a current book in a private Brooklyn home where they discuss the work over dinner with the author. Our first READ 718 Reads! event (November 2018) featured Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jennifer Egan discussing her novel Manhattan Beach and our most recent event (February 2023) hosted Hua Hsu discussing his memoir, Stay True.
